| You look well prepared and Happy B-day. Tell me about the Sammy's Choclate Bock. Is it a triple bock? |

Andreseng:
How would I know ? Here is what the tag says:
For centuries, the world's finest brewers have created rich, complex dark beers known as bocks. The best bocks, like Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock, display many layers of luxurious flavors. For our bock, only hand-selected hops from the world's oldest growing area are combined with a complex selection of carefully roasted malts and centuries old brewing process. Finally, the beer is slowly aged on a bed of rich chocolate that is specially blended by the master chocolatiers at Scharffen Berger Chocolate. This aging on special chocolate creates a flavor like NO other.....all I know it's Fab ! |

Keep your Opus One with you. Hot cars and trunks do not a good Bordeaux make...

| Yes, those bottles will be in the car (A/C). That's a $600.00 dollar bottle. I bought the last 4 and said I'd drink one when we catch Osam Benliken.......oh well...... |

| Acutally I paid $110.00 per bottle.....The guy behind me in line, said...."do you know you would pay at least 600 for that bottle of wine in a restraunt you would NEVER get reservations at ? That's when I pulled out of the line and grabbed the remaining 3.........now they are just aging.......till Sadam and OOOOOOOsama are hung by the gazoos ! |

I guess I didn't do too bad.....
Opus One 1998 1.5L Magnum
Opus One
Cabernet/Blends
Elegant, polished, supple and complex, with pretty currant, cedar, anise, sage and tar notes. Turns firmly tannic. Drink now through 2008. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

That's more like it, although the guy behind you in line sounds like he owns Mondavi stock. No restaurant would sell that wine (particulalry that vintage; 1998 was a generally subpar year for NV cabs) for $600. Not that paying $450+ is reasonable, anyway!
Buying it for $110 and then paying a corkage of $10-25? Now THAT'S the way to go.:2:
Enjoy!
