After reading about other's problems, and dealing with my own dealer and corporate issues, I'm curious if other's would recommend Acura - from a car standpoint, as well as from a "respect" standpoint (From dealer, corp, etc.) I'm not looking to slander the name, but I'm looking for honest information. I just finished writing my 3rd or 4th Acura questionaire they send whenever I contact them, so it's fresh on my mind.
Honest, please! |

Agreed. I would not likely recommend it over a Lexus, but there are still crap cars out there that don't reach Honda/Acura standards. |

| Definitely recommend. I have my neighbor thinking about a new TL for his wife--and they just recently sold their majority interest in the local Chevy/Olds/Cadillac dealership! |

I'll encourage them to look and compare TOYOTA/LEXUS against HONDA/ACURA and let them go from there.
It would eventually come down to their likes and needs. |

| Without a doubt I would recommend Acura! In fact we just got a good friend to buy a TL. Our neighbor has an RX300 and an ES300 and they really like our MDX and TL. They prefer the MDX over the RX and think the ES and TL are very equal. They both have some advantages over the other. Value is still what sets Acura apart IMHO. |

When I first bought my MDX, I loved it during the first 6 months till all these problems start to appear, I would not be surprise the dis-satisfaction of this brand will increase with time if Acura don't do anything either to back up their warranty or fix their design & service.
You can't just sell the car & ignore the after service, that's too American. |

| The fact that Acura only has a 36.6% customer retention rate vs Honda's 57.1% makes it clear that something is wrong at Acura. I know I get far better service at Honda than at Acura in my local area and I've spent much more time at Acura :(. For comparison, Lexus has a 55.5% retention rate and Toyota has 59.8%. Yes the MDX is a value, but in my experience that hasn't compensated for it's quality shortcomings and lousy Acura service. |

| I would definitely recommend Acura to my friends and family. I believe the complainers tend to be the most boisterous and are over represented. |

| I would recommend to a family member for it's overall cost and features. It's durability is good also. If you have the money much better off with the Lexus or Infinity Japan built vehicles. |

| No doubt about it. I give it two thumbs up for the price & reliability of their products. |
