| Hi all, TL driver here. I love the reverse camera you have that mounts discretely under the lip of the rear hatch. I would like one for the lid of my trunk. Did anyone who did not originally have one, get a camera, or does anyone know where or how to purchase an OEM one? Thanks |

An OEM one may cost you quite a bit. You may want to look at something like this.

| I actually have that one in my hand. I is big and ugly. Also pushes your plate out and illegally block the license plate lights. Thanks for trying though. You guys have it made, would like a nice mini one liek the MDX. |

This is the one I'm getting ready to install but I need suggestions on where on the back of the X to place it. I have the tow hitch so that location is not available.
Anyone have any ideas?? |

I have no pics cause I have a TL.
That is a nice camera you linked too, but how would you mount it. MDX comes from trunk lid and is angled perfectly, which is what makes it easy to utilize |

| Just put it to the right (or left) of the handle to lift the trunk, in the recessed area above the license plate. Can't see how mounting would be different on a TL from an MDX. |

How do you open the trunk without the key fob?
I call the long horizontal chrome area the handle. I think there is something under it to open/release the trunk.

| There is just the ledge, but with no angle the camera would face straight down in mounted there and show nothing. If you do not have a key fob you must pop it from the drivers seat, there is no other way to open the trunk. |
