Hello All,
First post here, just took delivery of a new 04 X
Aspen White Pearl / Saddle
Touring
Navi
RES
with the following accessories...
Side Steps - Black
Rear Deflector
BSM's
All season mats
I have a Form Fit front deflector from Tim that I am going to attemt to install -
First impressions are
Great !
Seems to have a nice tight turning radius for a big vehicle
Navi is terrific
RES good - kids seem to like it!
I like the color (never had a white car before)
Handling and ride are excellent
I'm going to try an attach some pics.
One question - what does everyone use to clean the Navi screen?
Thanks |

Looks nice, welcome to the club.
As for cleaning the Navi screen, I bought a box of lens cleaners from Lenscrafters (eyeglass store) that work well. They are a moist cloth and each is individually wrapped so they don't dry out. I think the box was around $10.00. |

The pearl white is gorgeous. I almost bought one, but I really dislike the saddle interiors of Honda/Acura.
Acura makes my 3rd favorite white. #1 is Lexus hands down (check out the SC430 in Pearl), #2 Cadillac, then Acura.
I saw a pearl white MDX on the road yesterday, and it had a painted spoiler....very nice. Your black air deflector looks good also. It looks better on white MDXs than other colors IMO. |

| To clean the navi screen, I use a piece of micro fiber cloth that are design to clean lap top screens. You can but it at any computer store. Be very care with any pre-moisten cleaning cloth, alot of them may contain chemicals that will do permanent damage to the screen. |

| Welcome aboard! Of interest, Ragman is Namgar spelled backwards, which stands for North American MGA Register. Any connection there? |

Thanks everyone - I really enjoy this forum! - Nice people and great information - I'm sure I will be back with questions fairly soon!
Mgrtr - No connection - just happens to be a name I use in forums that I belong to. |

Congrats & looks "Clean".
eurohazard: you said, "The pearl white is gorgeous"
uh, he said it's the Aspen White. That's a different White than the pearl :D (They had a Pearl White, don't know if it's still avail. ?)
oopps, my bad! They call it Aspen white pearl now. They other is Taffeta White. ......never mind......... |

It's all good Bronco lover!
You had me 2nd guessing myself for a sec. But they actually had a taffeta white, and a pearl white on hand last time I was at the dealership. I do like them both, but the pearl is a nice luxurious touch IMO. |

eurohazard..r u a Bronco fan also???...
Some people had complained about the White pearl being diff. between the bumpers & the rest of the vehicle,(though that's been some time ago...) How did the one's you looked at look like? I haven't seen a Aspen White Pearl at the dealer lot for quite some time. Just courious. :4: |

Naw, I am no Bronco fan. I grew up in Seattle, so am somewhat of a Seahawk fan. In fact there was a time when I hated the Broncos, because they destroyed my team all the time!
The Pearl White MDX I saw at the dealership looked pretty good. I must admit, if I were actually going to drive the white one home, I would have checked how the paint matched more thoroughly. I believe people when they say the color is off a bit though. Check out every silver Civic and Accord on the road, and the gas filler door is always "off" color. I believe this all has more to do with the fact that the items (bumpers, gas door) were painted in different directions (left-to-right vs. up-down), than the paint color being different. Thats my theory anyway. |
