Does anyone have pictures of the chrome mirror covers on a taffeta white or aspen white? debating on whether i should get these to make my X look a little less plain....If not pictures any opinions on what they look like on white X's??

| The chrome mirror covers will not look as good on the white as the black due to lack of contracts. On a white car, gold usually looks better. |

I was also thinking about the lack of color contrasts, but so far my MDX is really plain with the alloy wheels and the black sidesteps...very monotone, so maybe the chrome accents will add something? I wish I can see a pix of a white MDX with chrome mirror covers...So if anyone out there has pix, PLEASE POST!!! As for gold, do they even make mirror covers in gold? Although I'm sick of gold (my '94 Legend is gold) it could look nice.

| You are right, they dont make mirror covers in gold, I was just using that as a example. Although you can get them plated gold, but its just more time and money. Have you ever consider a mirror bra, the contrast might be nice on a white car. They come in black and carbon fiber color. |

Do a google on "colgan bra". I have a pair and they aren't too bad. I wish they provided a bit more coverage around the hinge area of the mirror. I still get quite a few bugs in that area after trips. These run about $30. Good luck.
