If you add a line level audio output it will greatly improve your sound and the volume will be controlled through your head unit and not through the ipod. I was using the Belkin adapter, but this product works much better. I have a 3rd gen ipod so you will have to check and see if the connections are the same. Its called the imp,

Thanks for the info. For $30 it looks like it's worth it since I need to buy a car charger anyways (and those are $20). Did you just buy from the online store or did you find it at a retail outlet? |

| I bought it online. It came pretty quickly if I recall. |

My Sik Imp came yesterday. The Line Level Audio output works great. I'm having some issues with static and distortion when the charger is plugged in. Without the charger, everything works great. Have you experienced this? I've have to play around with it some more to see what's going on. |
