Well, I just installed 4 6002i's in my 2004 MDX and it took me all of about 40 minutes. I used the recommended speaker adapters so i did not have to alter the factory wiring. I drilled a second hole for each of the fronts and used the top factory hole as the second mounting position. One thing I did notice is that the 04's don't seem to have the rain basket covering the rear speakers. The opening in the door for the speaker is just big enough to mount the 6002i's. I had to drill new hole's in the original speaker mounts for each of the rear speakers.
This weekend, i will be mounting a Polk sub in place of the factory one.

How is the sound quality with the new speakers?
I am not happy with the stock Bose setup in my X at all. I have a very modest aftermarket system in my Camry, and it blows the MDX away. |
