| Does anyone know what sense bi-wiring a center ch. speaker makes? See center column in attached pdf. |

| Zafer, with extremely good speakers and extremely good amplifiers -- as well as very expensive speaker wires, bi-wiring might be audible. Often it would be used for bi-amping as well, where one amp would drive the bass-midrange speakers, and another the tweeters. If the audio portion of your system cost less than $12-15K, I doubt if bi-wiring would be noticeable enough to make it worth the extra work. (My $.02, FWIW.) We have some very good audio and/or audio-video dealers in the Triangle, including Audio Advice on US70W and Advanced Audio in Cary. I'm sure they'd be willing to demo bi-wiring for you. |
