| Stock BOSE out, Infinity 63.5i's in. I have opted to wire them in directly, but could not find a + or - on the old speakers in order to determine polarity. Does anyone have the color code/polarity for the 4 door speaker wires? |

bart,
Welcome. Do you have the speaker wire harness to convert the Bose wiring to "normal" wiring? I think if you have those then it would be pretty straight forward. Here is what I am talking about. |

| No I didn't go for the adapter kits. I realize it would make things easier, but I thought I'd save the $25 and just use butt connectors. If I am not able to get the color code, plan B will be to buy one adapter in order to figure it out. |

Hi there,
Don't forget to use search, sometimes you'll get better advice from older posts.
Here you go:
FRONT LEFT SPEAKER BLUE/GREEN +
FRONT LEFT SPEAKER GRAY/BLACK -
FRONT RIGHT SPEAKER RED/GREEN +
FRONT RIGHT SPEAKER BROWN/BLACK -
REAR LEFT SPEAKER BLUE/YELLOW +
REAR LEFT SPEAKER GRAY/WHITE -
REAR RIGHT SPEAKER RED/YELLOW +
REAR RIGHT SPEAKER BROWN/WHITE -

Gokings55, I think those wires are out of the head unit/into the Bose amp. But that's a nice find!
I believe Bart0216 needs the wires out of the Bose amp into the speakers.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
BTW- I used an adaptor for this as well. I really surprised that their not labled on the speaker. But look at the two wires, generally the one with brown or black is the negative one. Once I get my amp installed, I have 4 adaptors that I will not need. |

| Yes, that table is most accurate straight from the head unit. In my non-bose MDX the colors were still the same at the doors. |

Here is an installer's trick to determine wire polarity:
Cut the wires to the existing speaker so that you have a couple of inches of wire. Strip back some of the wire jacket. With the connector on the factory speaker, tap the wires on a battery briefly to pop the speaker. This will cause the cone of the speaker to move in or out. When the cone moves out (away from the magnet) the wire on the positive battery terminal is the positive wire in the car. |
