Need help on how to change my 2001 old steering wheel to the 2004.
My friend has an extra brand new 04 steering wheel with 04 airbag cover.
Love the new look and is thinking of doing the swap.
Anybody had experiences doing this kind of thing?
I had contacted the local Acura dealer and they are not sure if they can do the swap since 01 airbag might not fit the 04 cover.
Anybody can help???

I'm pretty sure you can't swap the two. I know the 01/02 wheel will not fit the 03. I am assuming the 03 and 04 are the same. I'm thinking it is a difference in the steering column itself and not the air bags. Good luck. |
