Looking for a working big old boat anchor of a VCR that will be somewhat of a match to my 1981 projection set :)

Trades considered :)

Hmmm -- I've still got an old Sanyo SuperBeta HiFi, which pre-dates stereo TV audio broadcasts. It has stereo HiFi playback (and record through the line inputs). I hadn't considered getting rid of it, but I'll think about it if you don't find anything else. I figured that I'd get rid of it when I get a DVD player, whenever that might be. We'll rent a VHS movie maybe once every other year, and about the only thing I use my VHS HiFi for is to time-shift NYPD Blue.

I have a few 8 tracks that I'll trade for an 04 TL Meter Trim Kit

Any luck yet?

Thanks,

What are you willing to trade for it?

I have a top of the line NEC VCR (I think it's a model 961) from 1988(?) that I do not use any more. The rewind belts are a bit stretched, so it squeals a bit on rewind, but it plays and records quite well....

I'll swap you for a set of Michelin Speed Pilots for my wife's 04 Tl..... Gotta get rid of those crappy Bridgestones!!!!!

Seriously... Let me know if you're interested....

BTW - that's one scary looking TV..... Was it the predecessor of Stargate SG-5 ???

I have a 1987 Pioneer set. The first 40"er. Still looks good, but the blue convergence control (horizontal) is shot, and I cannot find a replacement for it ....
