I am negotiating with Sterling McCall in Houston on the purchase of a 2004 MDX with NAV. He is going $500 over invoice on the car with no discount for the few accessories that we are adding. Is this reasonable?

I have bought 2 MDXs (and a TL-S) from John Eagle. Sterling McCall's offers to me on both MDXs (as well as an '02 TL-S) was a joke. No discount on the dealer added accessories means in reality your deal is more than $500 over invoice. To be an out the door price at $500 over invoices requires the accessories to be at invoice as well.

Give Brian Simpson a call at John Eagle and tell him I referred you.

Get your accessories from Tim (www.hondacuraworld.com) rather than pay any dealer over invoice for them. Good luck.

Tell them you don't want to add the accessories. Buy them from Tim and install them yourself or have their service department do it.
