Two days ago, when I was driving my 04 MDX on the way to work, the navigation system suddently won't reapond to any touch on the screen and button press on the side. The only thing working was the voice recognition. It's so weird. I thought the sytem just ran into some kind of crashed mode. After I restart the engine to reboot the navigation system, it came back to life and everything is working fine now.
Does anyone have the same problem before? |

YES! I have seen it once on my 04 MDX.
I attributed it to MDX being under direct sun rays for a long period of time. Touch screen stopped responding, along with the buttons.
My guess was the touchscreen "shorted" (not the right word here of course, but I do not have another) because of the heat, and it somehow crashed the whole computer.
Restarting the engine helped in my case too. |
