Very Interested to see what the majority uses???
I've been using the OEM from Acura, but starting to think about going to Fram. Fram makes the filters for Acura anyway??

| I can't find the link and the way they did the comparison is worthy to read and think about. It recommends Purolator thats what I use now. |

| I've been using OEM because the Honda dealer is on my way home, they have the crush washer and they're a few dollars cheaper than at the Acura dealer. Eventually I will just order 6 from Tim when I figure out what else I'm ordering. |

| I have been using FRAM oil filters on all my cars for the last 20+ years. I change oil at approximately 5K mi intervals, and never had any problems. |

I have been using Fram and change every 5k miles. Haven't had any issues on this car or any others using Fram.
Does the OEM filter have the 'anti-drainback valve' inside the filter (the component that is supposed to help oil circulate faster on startups)? I did notice that the Fram filter I am using does not, so if there is a difference, then I may switch back to OEM. |
