To all you frequent travelers:

We're taking a trip out of SFO next week, and I was wondering about your collective experience parking at one of the lots just outside of SFO. It's much cheaper (~30%). The one I'm looking at is Parking Company of America off of Produce Ave.

Thanks for your input.

PCA is a bunch of scumbags.

ParkNFly is reputable but you're stuck outside.

I've been using PARKSFO for the past few years -- INDOOR parking, super clean, helpful w/bags, etc. Same price as the others, too.

Go to their website and sign up for a coupon; they send them out all the time. Sometimes 1 day free, sometimes 2 days, sometimes % off:

I've been using skypark for several years. I've had good luck. If you do happen to use them make sure you use the eCoupon. It will save you a few $$. http://www.skypark.com/index.html

ParkSFO sucks big time. Despite all their security cameras etc. my car was broken into two weeks ago. These scum bags won't even admit what happens in their facility. I suspect an employee ruined my car. Very rude staff. I will never park here again. Use the airport parking lot it is much safer. I've heard from the attenders at ParkSFO that thefts are common within their facility. Their video cameras are useless.

I've flown out of SFO and Oakland for YEARS! My trip starts at my front door with a LIMO! No parking hassles, and they pick me up when I get back home. All this for the price of parking. Why put up with airport parking hassles?!?!?!? Get in THEIR car at your front door and don't think a minute more about it. You car won't be broken into. Traffic is not your problem. They meet you at baggage claim. It costs the same. What's the problem with that????

Rotorray has a good point. Yeah, just outsource it!! (I do the same whenever possible too.)

I totally agreed on that, I hate driving to the airport. Either call a limo or having your friend(s) for pick-up/drop-off.

Call 1-800-BLUE VAN (for Supershuttle). Costs about $25 each way and they are very reliable. I've used them from D.C. for many years and always have been pleased.

My sentiment exactly... another alternative is to take BART, if you don't have too many bags. I've done so in going to SF and Oakland Airports.
