I just did the tire rotation 2 month ago. Anyone know what else can cause the steering wheel to vibrate?
Mr_MDX
the steering wheel in my new MDX with only 1200 miles vibrates sometimes as well, but sometimes it doesn't. I've found that depending on the road/hwy I'm on, i'll "feel" the road more on some than others

is it constantly vibrating on every road your on?

1. Front end might be out of alignment.

2. Wheels may need to be balanced.

A visit to my dentist may be in order after driving a Jeep today. I may have lost a filling or two.

It was a pleasure returning to my smoooooth X.

I also believe that your tires need to be balanced.

If you have low miles, you may be able to purchase a warranty from one of your local tire store that will include flats, rotations, and balancing… :4:

I have had the steerign wheel shake at speeds above 75 to about 85mph. I have had the tires check, wheels checked, had what is called "Road force balancing done" and still have the issue. I believe, one of the tires or rims is our of round

Alloy rims are rarely out of round or have an eccentric mounting. (I did say rarely, not never). But tires can be.
A good balance/alignment shop should be able to detect that, and even correct it by tire truing, etc. If not, the tire could be defective.

Your tires need balanced by a professional tire dealer

Who in southern Ohio is the best at balancing tires. I have tried three places Michael Tire, Tire America and the Dealer who told me they did not have the equipment to help me

Find a factory owned Goodyear store. They have trained personel and the right equipment to do the job.

My local Goodyear store in Akron, Ohio has figured out several tire issues for me in the past...very good people!!

Good luck!

I did the wheel balancing and my steering wheel is still vibrating. Well... more and less. I beginning to think this problem maybe related to the suspension problem I have.
