Silver w/ Quartz interior, Touring and Navi.

Coming off lease on a 2002 BMW X5 and needed something with a 3rd row (we have two 90lb German Shepherds and I'm tired of folding down ALL the seats to get them in) . My Fiance has a 2004 TL w/ Navi and I said if Acura made the MDX with Bluetooth and XM then that would be my next car.

And behold Acura delivers for me. Gave them 1500 over invoice for a sales price of $40,150.

Went to the dealer last weekend (Santa Monica Acura in SoCal) to buy and they wouldn't budge beyond $2000 over invoice so we said our goodbye's. Got a call from the salesman yesterday and today letting me know that they could probably work on the numbers (gotta love the end of the month sales quota). Called him back and offered them 1500 over invoice and they took it. Finished up the deal over the phone, drove to the dealership and spent 30 minutes signing paperwork and will pick up the car tomorrow.

Congratulation and welcome to the forum !!
(I myself is a new forum member, too)

I guess next time I will take advantage of "end of month/year quota", among other tricks. :p

Look forward to the picture of your new MDX.

Cheers :2:

Congrats. Other than the 3rd row, in your opinion what are some of the big differences between the X5 and the MDX?

I'm waiting for a new 2005 owner to report back on whether or not they hear gas sloshing noises. I own an 04 and the noises bug me to the point that I'm going to trade it on an 2005 if the new gas tank in the 05 has fixed this issue. I just filled my tank and it's incredible how much thumping I hear from the tank when it's that full.

I just bought an 05 a couple of weeks ago, not aware of any sloshing yet, the other day I might have heard it but I had a lot of groceries and stuff in the back, I couldnt tell where the noise was coming from. By the way this is a valid concern for a $40,000 automobile. My cheaper vehicles do not even make a sloshing noise, good luck with your 04.

I don't have 04 so at what fuel level do you start to hear the slosh?

I drove 90 miles so far it's 21.3 mpg.

test drove rx330 and FX35, was going for FX35 if MDX was selling at MSRP.
