So gents....the 2005 MDX Black/Black (with chrome siderails) was delivered last night. It looks awesome. Gonna get some pics up soon.
Wife is happy -- that counts for A LOT. She wanted an infiniti FX35. I won. :p
Delivery took no longer then 10 minutes. Smooth deal. $457.73 per month.
Question #1: In the way back on either side there in the roof there are openings for something...can't figure it out. Any ideas? (i know pics would help).
Question #2: XM radio -- i read on the TL board that you can get 12 months beyond the OEM teaser 3 for $60.00.
The code is ZWINBACK MYP1....anyone try it? I hear you may have to ask for customer retention or call back a few times because not all the operators know about the "promotion."

| Regarding the XM 60$/year promotion... Yes, you can still get it if you call the 800 number and ask for the retention department. I got it serveral weeks ago (on my TL) while the promo was being advertised but just last week I posted on a corvette board (the new C6 has XM as an option) I frequent that I heard it was possible to still get the promotion and several people replied that they called and were able to get it. You being at the very beginning of your trial might make it difficult but it's worth a try. Make sure they understand you have a factory installed unit, not after-market. Good luck! :7: |

I got the base MDX with dealer-installed siderails. All I put up front was the bank fee ($1095), tax on bank fee ($95), first month ($457.73) and the DMV fees ($175).
42 month lease (61% residual)
12K miles per year
I shopped around and the best deal I was offerred was $505/month with the same structure.

The 2 holes in the upper rear by the 3rd row are for the cargo seperation net which I just installed today with the cargo liner (have a 90lb German Shepherd who has been drooling on the 2nd row head rests for the last 2 weeks).
For anyone who has a large dog this combo is definietly the way to go...It's kind of like a little doggie prison in back. |
