I have had the MDX (SS Base) since January, so far haven't encountered any major problems for the first 6000+ miles. The car had just gotten the 7500mi service at the dealership a week ago.
Yesterday, while traveling on freeway at ~70 mile/hr speed, all of a sudden, I noticed a loud hissing sound coming from the rear (rear left wheel? not sure); it lasted for about 5 seconds or so. I continued driving for another 2 hours to get home, but the sound didn't reappear again. I thought it was kind of strange. This morning on my way to work, both battery and brake warning lights come on for about 2 seconds, then went away. Now, I'm a little concerned. Is the car behaving normally? Should I take it to the dealership for an inspection?
Have anyone had similar experience before? Any explanation or advices are appreciated. Thanks.

Funny, I noticed a sound from the rear end once, which has not recurred. I also had a couple lights come on right after a service. Mine is also a base.
Weird.
BTW, welcome to the board! |

Thanks.
I took the car in for an inspection just to be on the safe side. However, since I couldn't re-produce the symptoms, the dealership cannot do anything about it. I guess I'll keep monitoring for the time being. |
