Last night we drove to our Acura dealership and signed the paperwork for a 2005 MDX Touring Navi/RES Black/Ebony with running boards and tailgate spoiler. They are doing TQI and installing the boards and tailgate and I'll be picking her up tomorrow at noon ! ! ! ! !

Tim: check you email cause I've got some goodies on order with you....

I will say good bye to the 2003 work horse MDX, but she just wasn't the same. The Thump when you closed the door was gone. Rattles were coming up all over the cabin. When you shut the door that got the most impact from the accident sounded like a when you have your piano tuned ! I drove it on some back roads and really got on the brakes and whoa....I didn't like what I heard, which questioned just how safe the X was. With only 12,200 miles on the ODO, slightly over a year old, we traded it in......

I will gladly take pictures of the interior, exterior and give you my feedback on a 03 comparing to a 05, as you guys know how much an Acura freak I am......Yeah I'll look underneath and report if I find RUST etc.....Pictures by Thursday latest ! :runaway: :trustme: :29: :31:

Congratuations...Do you mind me asking how bad the resale was after the accident?? I assume you traded it in?? Just curious as mine just made its way back to my driveway after 23 days at the bodyshop after a rear ending:(

Fabvsix,
31k is a good trade-in for an 03. Dealers are starting at 27k, and have to be leveraged up from there. You didn't get gigged for the crash damage.

Wait till you hear the stereo, play with the voice recognition adn drive behind the new headlights. You won't think about the check you just wrote. Much.

Congratulations!!! If you don't mind, can you please tell me how much you paid for your 2005 MDX Touring Navi/RES Black/Ebony with running boards and tailgate spoiler .. I am very new to MDX and also to this group. I am planning to buy a 2005 MDX Touring Navi/RES Silver/Quartz with running boards. Can some one suggest me what would be the best price?.

Thanks

What a difference a few months makes when it runs in to the new model year. Traded our 2003 Nav/Res in at the end of August and got 35K with no hassle.

Car looks great and I think you got a pretty good deal on your trade.

Just out of curiosity, do you really like black that much? All the cars in your list are black...(and Acura) :2:
