| is a filter wrench necessary to take the filter out and put it back on? hand-tighten ok? It says 28lb of torque in the manual to do the job. Does anyone has pictures to do the oil change? |

sorry, no pics, but you should probably invest in a filter wrench (about $3). The old filter is usually a bit too tight to unscrew with your hand. And typical installation process for the new filter is to hand tighten, then add 1/4 turn with a wrench to make sure the gasket seals properly.
Turning your wheel to the right when you park the car should give you plenty of clearance to be able to change the oil without having to jack or use ramps. |
