| Nope to the first, just pull hard on the second one. I bought a cig kit from Tim to put in a light. |

| Not only Acura is too cheap to include a light there, even the wiring is not there. To install the light from the smoker package, you have to remove so many things(navi screen, radio, dvd player, gear shift trim...etc) in order to run the wire. Shame on Acura! |

| Yeah anything after 03 is not worth even putting in too much disassembly to put one in. |

yup, very disappointed in the absence of a light in there too. in fact, two lights, one in the "not an ashtray" and another in the storage bin below it would have been nice, and infinitely more useful than the two faint lights in the footwells.
overall, i feel like acura packaged a very nice bargain into the x with the options like navi and res and such. but little things that would have cost acura very little to incorporate seem oddly absent. things that are often complained about on the board. like one-touch windows all around and for the sunroof, those little lights, and a freakin sunglass holder. even side moldings as standard equipment. maybe it would have added a 100-200 to the overall price of the car, but it would eliminate most of the quibbles of the buyers. |

btw, how do i get the kit to add a light in there? the ashtray kit???
i was simply going to buy an led kit that plugs into the cig lighter, and hardwire it. |

Happy Holidays to all,
Just wanted to know how to put the coin tray back into my 2004 (i.e. my boy pulled it out while playing in the X).
Also, got the basic X, which doesn't have the sunglass holder. Been reading a lot of complaint threads, but didn't find any solutions to store my sunglass. Do you have any solutions?

| Just to let you know it's not just the Premium(Basic) MDX that doesn't come with the sunglass holder its all models of the 2004. Weird huh?? |

Just 01-03. 04-05 had to make room for the sunroof controls which used to be down on the lower left dash. |

| I'm happy to put my sunglasses (in their case) in the glove compartment or arm rest, in exchange for moonroof controls that you can reach easily. |

You say that, but I have had several Hondas in the past and am having trouble getting used to the moonroof controls on the ceiling. |

Thanks for the pics! Okkkkkk!!! I'm ready to join in the fun!! The words are similar to the ones in your pictures, and the MDX picture is from the Acura website (mine just cannot be this clean/shinny!) It's a one-sided card. What do I do with this? Stick it under the MDX wipers in the parking lots and hope it doesn't set off any alarms? :D Or do I have to talk to the person first?? |

All I do is stick it on the driver's side window so that it sticks in the rubber window liner, above the driver's door handle, that way there is no way they miss it.
If I happen to see the driver, I just hand it to them, like I did a week ago to a local news anchorwoman at a gas station.
