I posted a few weeks ago about my tranny dying at 79k. After 2 and 1/2 weeks I got my MDX back from the dealer with its rebuilt transmission.
I would have to say that the shifting is not (for lack of a better description) as tight as it was pre- problems. In addition, I don't seem to notice the automatic downshift that would occur when braking down a hill.( I forget what Acura calls it)
Finally, when the ignition is turned on I hear a rumbling from the back.
In case you cannot tell, I am not much of a car techie but I am wondering if anyone else is noticing similar things after a rebuilt tranny is put in.
Overall, I am prettyunhappy with my new transmission, and will be looking to dump my MDX when the warranty expires (100K) |
