My interior lights (all dome lights, door lights, map lights) suddenly stopped working yesterday. In addition, the trip computer and clock reset to 0 and "1:00" everytime I start the car up. Homelink is wiped out.
I am going to bring the car in to Acura to determine the cause. The only thing I did differently was I had a new rear-windshield installed 10/21/04. There was a bad seal, and the defrost did not work, so they came out yesterday, and attached the defroster connection and re-sealed. The glass company says nothing they did could have caused the problem.
Any thoughts on this? Could the glass company have done something to cause this type of electrical problem?
I read a previous thread where there was a "loose wire behind the dash" that caused a similar problem.

Have you checked the fuses? If the glass company did not disconnect the battery when they attached the defroster connection, it is possible that some fuses were blown.
I would start by checking those first. |

Thanks, I'll check the fuses.
I will admit I know nothing about MDX fuses, but I will search some posts for help. I don't know where to look, how to tell if need new ones, where to get new ones...

| Looks like it's fuse 11, a 10 amp fuse in the fusebox inside that little door to the right of the passenger's footwell. |
