Hi,
I just purchased the '05 MDX with NAV and am hoping to be able to install / integrate my Apple IPOD into the vehicle.

Can someone please advise? I would greatly appreciate it.

If these don't help, then you might want to look for "IPOD" through a search option and you'll surely find a good answer somewhere on this site.

Have fun!!

...the suggestions above about using an adaptor will not work on the '05s :(

Considering bluetrip

Can mount (or leave loose)the reciever and a power inverter near the AUX inputs and keep the ipod up front as the remote plugged into the console power.

Does this really work? Has anyone used it? I know the handsfree link is bluetooth, but have not heard about connecting an ipod by this method.

The sound quality of Bluetooth is horrible and you're better off using the new iTrip from Griffin. Alternately you can try using the Aux input into the Acura RES.

You can find the installation instructions I posted here. I'm very satisfied with that solution combined with AirClick. Now I don't even have the open the console cover to control tracks....
