Very good deal. Invoice + Destination for your model is $37,525. Your quote is just $1358 over this. Don't let them confuse the deal with a trade in and other options. Do some due dilgence on the internet if you want running boards, spoiler or something else that you're unwilling to "install yourself". You could always buy it online and then negotiate with your service manager to install the itmes for you.

Thanks for the input...I did have several dealerships give quotes..I do need running boards for my wife and have the invoice price and the internet aftermarket price for them.

What I found Amazing is that 2 different dealerships 75 miles away from each other came within 3 dollars of each other for the EXACT same car... Kinda tells me 38883 is bottom for this week.

I am going to try and get running boards for cost 497$ installed, I do have a trade in But they dont know about it yet, or I would sell it on my own. Basically giving it away but for 2 grand more then a trade would give me..

This is an awsome board I never knew something existed..

You got a $100 cheaper deal than I got for my running boards installed; congratulations! That's an awesome price.

I decided to buy a rear tailgate and wide bodyside moldings online. I spoke to my local Acura service guy and he said he'd do both installs for $120! I was thrilled because I saved hundreds of dollars doing it this way, rather than just buying it from my local dealer at MSRP and having them install them. I was going to install the moldings myself then realized it was going to cost very little to have the local dealer do it. I was very uncomfortable with the thought of drilling holes in a brand new $40K vehicle and doing the install of the deflector myself.

I thought long and hard last night about the Leather Protection, normally I don't do things like this. But with 2 little kids and ton of McDonald's in my future it seemed like a good investment in my new 40K car.

Anyone else purchase this protection 248$.

I also got the running boards put on today for 595$ installed.

When the sun comes out I will post a picture.

I don't anything about the leather protection a dealer does. I do know that many car owners use Lexol on a regular basis. I've been using the Zaino leather cleaner- it's expensive and I don't think it does a better job than the much cheaper and more widely available leather cleaners out there. I am sold on Zaino as a being the premier exterior do-it-yourself car polish.

I've decided to have my local detailer take care of the exterior upkeep of my new X. The first step is a "new car treatment". I had the dealer not even apply an initial wax. Later this week they're going to wax the exterior a couple of times and finish off with a paint sealer. They'll "protect the leather"- not sure if it's the same thing your dealer is doing, and will spray all the interior carpet with a stain protectant.

Divergcm2,
Run (don't walk) away from that leather protection package. It's pure profit for the dealer!!

Diver..

If you don't want to do the leather conditioning/protection on your own find a local detail shop that you can trust. Their price should be a TON less than the dealer.

Example: In Akron, Ohio my dealer wanted $350 for the Simonize teflon paint treatment. A very well respected/long time local detail/accessories shop did the teflon paint sealant AND interior leather and carpet protectant/conditioner for $175!!

5 year unconditional warranty on both!!
