I just picked up an Aspen White '05 MDX with Touring, Navigation and Entertainment system.
$40,999 <$999 over invoice & Destination>. Free wheel locks.
$2459.94 <NJ tax 6%>
$319 <4 years registration>
$157 <Documentary Fees>
$43.934.94 out the door.
$599 + $35.94 tax = $634.94 for running boards and installation
I'm going to purchase a cargo net, all-weather mats, wide-bodyside molding and a rear air deflector. My service guy will install the molding and deflector for $120.
Very happy buying experience. I leased a 2004 TL and they were very accomodating.
Thanks for everyone's advice and comments. Many people have been quite helpful.

uboltpb,
Greetings and salutations. If your are handy with tools, you could install the BSM's and tailgate deflector yourself. Save the $120 and you could buy more accessories.:4: |

Would you tell me which dealer you bought it from because I will be heading to a dealer probably next week in NJ? Was it a purchase or a lease? I'm guessing purchase based on some of the info you provided.
Thanks |

Aspen White Touring/RES.. Body side moldings.
I would like to get running boards, Anybody know how hard they are to put on..
I paid $38630 then add Tax/title/ etc..
I was about to walkout, and they stopped us..
The only guy that was a jerk was the Finance manager.. He didn't believe the rate I received from my credit union even when they faxed the application to him..
Over all a great experience..
Any advice on the running boards would be great..

Congrats and welcome to the family. Save yourself a bunch of money and buy the running boards from Tim here:
http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Merch...egory_Code=AMDX
They are very easy to install and here's the link for the install:

Plus you can try doing a search to see pics from other members that have done the install themselves.
Have fun! |

Nice deal Mike. I had them put running boards on mine. I think it finishes the car off nicely- like crown molding in a room of one's house. It helps keep the vehicle clean, and it makes it look more like an SUV and less like a dreaded minivan in my opinion.

Thanks for the kudos from everyone: daleb, hammermdx, excalibur; I've appreciated everyone's comments and opinions.
I don't trust myself drilling holes in my brand new vehicle- I'm just not quite that handy. I was going to install the molding myself, but my great service guy said he'd do it for an extra $40- he's doing the deflector for me for $80.

You may be able to get one dealership to play against another..
Good luck.. |

uboltpb, I got the same price (~$1000 over invoice). Aspen white was one of my options but in the end got the NBP because I preferred the ebony more than the saddle. One question, why did you decide to go with the deflector vs. the spoiler? Besides the look, I understand that the deflector doesn't come color-matched.
Divergcm2, had the same experience with the finance manager I worked with. Fortunately my credit union is part of an online network (forgot what its called) which dealers have access to. The transaction was done rather quickly. |

Congrats pisay87 on your deal!
I like the look better; I think it looks sportier. The black deflector "breaks up all the "vanilla" surrounding it. It matches the cargo rack and there was a model on the showroom like this, and just "liked the look".
NBP is my favorite color, I just don't have the time to deal with all the outside upkeep involved. NBP with the saddle interior is an awesome color combo IMHO.
Personal choice, it's a wonderful thing.
