Been reading this site for a couple of weeks now and have finally decided to join. Been looking at the black or sagebrush colors. Anyone purchase either and had regrets? I'm assuming with small children, I need the black interior? I've been a black car owner in the past and love the look but the fingerprints and dirt show up so much. Is the sagebrush any better? Anyone know any sites for good auto loan rates?

I agree the ebony interior will stay "cleaner" than the quartz. I have the quartz interior and I think it looks very nice, but I got sick of the weekly cleaning of the floor mats.

But then I discovered Huskliner floorliners. The floor liners replace the factory floor mats with a durable plastic/vinyl surface. I am very happy with the money spent. So if you like the quartz interior, you do have options.

Good Luck! Get your best rate at these sites than go in to the dealer and dare them to beat it......

Sagebrush rocks. Wanted the black but don't own a carwash to remove all the junk every other day. I actually like the quartz interior. The steering wheel is a nice dark shade of grey, almost black.

Black and Sage Brush now both come with an ebony interior option. Black comes with a saddle interior option- I have this interior and it's a dark brown and would look great with a black exterior. The problem with a black exterior is that it's difficult to keep clean and scratches "stand out". Sage Brush is a great color and much easier to upkeep.

Me and my friend bought our 05 MDXs together. He got Nighthawk Pearl with Ebony leather and I got Sagebrush Pearl with Ebony leather

Both cars look really nice and my theory is that every color gets dirty, no matter what - so go with what looks nice to you. Both of us decided to go with Ebony interior because we liked the look of black, seemed more luxurious. Furthermore, the Quartz interior reminded us of numerous Hondas we have owned. Again, that is a personal choice.

I don't think you will be disappointed with either one. My personal taste tilted towards Sage because to me it looked a little sportier. My friend liked black because it looks sophisticated. Hopefully, I have made your decision making even harder :D

Another question? How many miles did your MDX have when you pick up from dealer?

The trigger was pulled!!! Went with the black on black nav/entertainment. so far so good, or should I say great. It take about 4 hours to get it done, but all good now
