In my case, the gentle grinding noises were barely noticeable at 53k miles. What prompted me to take the car in for service was intermittent hesitation when slowing down from speed and trying to speed up again, as one would when approaching a red light and then trying to get back up to speed before coming to a full stop once the light turned green again. My service supervisor told me it was the transmission. Acura replaced it for free and I didn't even pay for labor. This all happened prior to the tranny recall. At 75k miles, the engine light came on three consecutive weeks costing me a total of $600 to replace things such as temperature sensors, fuel pumps and even a gas cap.

In the middle of a rain storm my A/c quit. No fan nor defroster! Well, I think I've had enough!I haven't decided which car I'll get next but it probably won't be an Acura. That's too bad because I love my wife's 2004 V6 Accord.:3: :3: :3:
