Based on a member of this board buying from them and finally posting pictures, I decided to order a kit for my RL.
Web purchase was ok.....
The package arrived on time, but WRONG color wood ! Obvisiously it was a returned kit, that they shipped to me. It was incomplete on top of that. So I had to pay $10.50 to ship it back and now waiting for the correct color. Mgr said he would NOT credit my account since it was an internet order ! Total BS !
I would be careful dealing with these folks ! Web site was outdated too !
Anyone know anything good or bad about these folks ?

We ordered ours from them ~4 yrs ago without any problems. IIRC it was a 'net order but the correct one arrived and was new.
I'd just call your CC company for a charge-back if they're not planning to credit you for shipping their mistake back to them. |

| Sorry Worm, but I'm NOT impressed with this company. THEY shipped a previouly returned item to me that was INCOMPLETE ! They should HONOR their mistake. Obvisouly you have some relationship with this company which I WILL NOT RECOMMEND to anyone ! :mad: :3: |

I don't have any relationship with them other than that single order 4 yrs ago. I agree that shipping a previously returned, incomplete, and wrong color item isn't good. Refusing to pick up return shipping for their mistake is worse and totally unacceptable.
Like I said, call your credit card company and dispute the charge, and tell them to pound sand.
There are several other companies carrying the kits and they all come from the same place/manufacturer. wooddash.com is one of them IIRC. |

Thanks so much Worm ! You be the man......I compared my experience to their service from others, I grade them very poor ! The gal on the phone sounds DEAD ! The guy the second time was curt. Manager remains in the "rear" so to speak.....my last dealings with them. I got a kit for the RL on its way due today. All my fingers are crossed. I'll show the gang. Now to that other web site to get one for the X !

I do find their customer service people not to be the friendliest and professional out there. I have bought plood kits from them twice- December, 2003 for my TL and most recently for my MDX. They did give me 100% satisfaction in the end, but there were some problems.
Last year they sent me a navigation plood kit for my TL when I requested a non-navigational plood kit. I called and they quickly sent me the missing pieces, along with a couple of pieces that I noticed another online company included in their kit for no extra charge. I don't remember if they sent me a postage paid envelope to use to send back the incorrect pieces.
Today I received 2 replacement parts for the plood piece that goes around the gear shifter and the piece that goes at the top of the glovebox. The first part had a small annoying bubble in it, and the second piece had adhesive that I felt was defective. They got the replacement pieces to me within a week and never asked me to return the defective pieces. They also sent me 2 pieces that I couldn't use because the '05 OnStar buttons now would be covered over- they never asked me to return them.
Again my 2 experiences have ended positively, but there have been some "bumps" along the road. I recommend them to people, but their customer service people need some additional "people skills" training.
Again, sorry for your negative experience with them. You've already discovered that they do have competitors out there- good luck with them!
AND get over my delay in posting frigging pictures of my plood. I was busy working that week and it was my first time posting pics on a website. It was incredibly time consuming and my wife needed to help me accomplish it.
