I've been trying to find Silvervision-type bulbs for the turn signals on my 04 MDX but have not had any luck. I first got the Philips Silvervision 1157 bulbs which I was told would fit and it didn't. When I found that I needed 3457 bulbs, I got some 3157 bulbs from Autolumination because they said those were equivalent to the 3457s......they didn't fit either.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help. |

Update: I discovered that the 3157 bulbs I got does fit the 3457 bulbs for the front turn signals. So I didn't waste my money for nothing.
But I still don't know what type of bulbs are used for the rear turn signals. Sylvania's website doesn't list the rear turn signals. |

Yep - you're correct... my bad.
For front turn signals:
2003 MDX = 3497s
2004 MDX = 3457s
I was looking at the bulbs for my 2003 :-). Didn't realize they're different. |

7443 is the correct size for rear turn signal bulb on 2004 MDX. I got mine($2.50 ea plus shipping)from ebay. You can get them in white, amber and red. I have them on my car for 10 month. They are still good.

AAAHHHH....Thank You Sushix! I had taken apart the lighting assembly and all the bulbs were labeled 7443s except the turn signals. I then called a local Acura dealer and the guy told me their manuals don't cross reference to those numbers...that he only has Honda/Acura part numbers. I asked him what happens if I go to an auto parts store to get a replacement bulb, I would need to know the common part numbers and he just said he didn't have them in stock but still couldn't tell me what they were. Nice customer service.
I should have just taken out the stop light bulb and see if it would fit...duh. |

| I saw some chrome bulbs for $5.99 each at local auto parts store but they only come in 1157 and 3157 size. I guess the only place you can find these bulbs is ebay, $2.49 each here. |

Have you tried the chrome reverse bulbs yet? I have tried LED reverse bulbs on my car but they are too dim. So I took them out. |
