I know there are tons of aftermarket super white bulbs out there and most of you seem partial to Sylvania Silverstars, PIAAs or Hoens but I thought I'd throw in another suggestion....Supreme Power Parts Bulbs.

A friend in an Audi club recommended these and I've been using them for about 8 months now without any problems (knock on wood). They also come with a 1-year unlimited replacement warranty and they are relatively cheap compared to those other brands mentioned above, at $30 a pair. According to their site, the Super White temperature is about 5000K. My personal perception is that they are white with a slight hint of blue at some angles.
I have them for my lows, highs and fogs. I'm actually using 80W for the lows vs the factory's 55W; 100W for highs vs 65W and 80W for fogs vs 51W. And since they're relatively cheap, I purchased backup pairs of 55Ws just in case the factory harness can't handle the higher wattage bulbs (again, knock on wood).
Good luck in choosing your bulbs. |
