| Simply the "application".....one is very easy, the other (OEM) is a pain in the rear and can cause problems down the line. Call Tim and ask him what the specific's are.... |

Easy to install? So the Door Visors are better? |

Actually I am looking into getting one too... as I am smoking in the car sometimes. On my previous car there were two styles available - one would stick with double sided tape and the other go in between window liners. It had a sharp edge you could stick in there. The first style (sticking one) fell off after about a week of highway driving. The second style still stays, but occasionally I have to readjust it back in between liners.
Do you, guys, have experience with MDX and can provide any feedback on it? Thank you. |

I have had experience with both. V Vs on other cars and now have the Weathertechs for almost 18 mos. in the MDX.
I prefer the WTs for the more optically clear plastic. After a few weeks of seating in the channels, they are no problem. They look more integrated into the looks of the car also.
I have lost a couple of Vent Visors in the past just due to the adhesive aging and wind stress I suppose. They seem chintzy to me in comparison with the WTs but either one is very effective at reducing drafts and noise as well as keeping out water when you want to crack your windows open.
Neither one is what I would call an elegant solution. If the VentVisors had more clarity I would probably lean towards them again for zero installation concerns. |

Are the Door Visors, the WT's? I'm a little confused. |

These are the WT's....I don't know what Door Visors are..sounds like a generic name for either one. Or those huge swoopy ones you sometimes see on big rigs or RVs.

VentVisors are the ones you can get in most auto supply places, but probably have to order for the X. |

I ordered the Vent Visors, per Tim's recommendation.
Thanks for the input |
