I would suggest that UNICEF is NOT the place to donate. That outfit has a track record that makes the food for oil program in IRAQ look like it was a Sunday School event. Please donate but make it though some proven private organization.

If you are not sure, as far as I know the American Red Cross is still a safe bet.
