Hi, Just a thanks for all the members here for all the incredible info. I just bought my X in Oct 04 without the research of the tranny recall, wind noise, thud, weeping mirrors, nav screen sensitivity. I felt a little buyer's remorse mainly due to the tranny so I lurked on this web for months reading everyone else's problems, concerns and diy.
I bought it used in Burlingame (yea I know about this dealer's rating) yet the Used Car Manager sold it to me for less than advertised and threw in the all weather mats, full detail, full tank and a free oil and filter change . The only catch was the miles were at 76K. It is a 2001 Mesa Beige with Nav, running boards, roof rack, bsm(small ones), roof visor, and new Bridgestone Turanza tires. It looked clean! It had the 75K service done plus
the jet recall at 75200. I was feeling less remorse once I started driving and reading this forum.
After 3K miles of driving my X, I'm relieved to say I'm glad I bought it. I couldn't afford to buy the newer Xs cause the 42K+ price range was not in the cards especially with the SO, she would never go for it! She has the 2001 TL without the tranny problem and no major problems with it. I've been camping with my X in Santa Cruz, went up to Reno and back ( SO was cruizn at 80+ on way back), up to Cache Creek with my mom recently and knock on plood I can keep going! So to shorten it up Thanks to all and I'm glad I finally signed up. My dream SUV 07 used when this one is paid off! Thanks

Aloha, bra! How's beautiful Hawaii? Am planning to retire there in about 4-5 years. I'm serious! I told my wahine I'd move home with her. She was born and raised there. I had a blast reading your turkey baster in adding atf .Enjoyed the pixs. And thanks!javascript:smilie(':2:')

Thanks and I do support our troops! I know of 3 coworkers who were called up last year, one is in Afganistan, one in Iraq, and one in Virginia waiting to be sent. My thoughts and prayers are with them.javascript:smilie(':)

Oh by the by I forgot to mention I have the fender accessory and rear mud guards. Hondaacuraworld I know is calling me to pick up the 04 handle or the burlwood. If I could swap it with my wife's burlwood I would have but it won't fit in my X.javascript:smilie('')

| You know when they give you that survey on da plane visitor to Hawaii or destined to Hawaii. Little did I realize it would come true. No I'm not a native but the people there have that ohana(family) feeling. On my next trip, I'll be sure to give you an Alooooooohaaaa! Yes I've been there several times. Next trip might be around Easter time. |
