| I've seen the Wet something? Looking for a plain black cover, which will still allow me to use car seats. Is there anything else out there besides Wet ?. |

Here's the thread on the Wet Okole in case you haven't seen the pictures yet.

The Wet Okole's are well-featured but not cheap if all you're looking for is a shield. I wish Acura made, as an accessory, a simple fitted, thin nylon cover for the rear seat. I've seen that available as a manufacturer accessory for some other vehicles. |

It's hard to believe with the number of people that use the MDX as a 'kid mover' many other manufacturers wouldn't be making these. Maybe there is a universal one that is inexpensive enough that cutting holes in it wouldn't be a big deal.

| thanks wmquan, and yes I did see that thread during my 'search'. It is a little dated (2/2003), I was hoping maybe they had updated there design where they would fit better. |

Thanks for the search, but i've done that and read that thread. I don't want towels to protect the seats, I want a seat cover. I'll experiment with something soon & report back. Meanwhile, anyone that has tried the Wet Okole and got it to fit correctly or something other than a towel or a blanket, please report.

Several additional options are available to protect rear seats, as discussed in this previous discussion thread:

| Have you checked out the Car Seat Grabber. I have been using something similar for over two years on leather seats and its really nice and protects the seat well. |

I am not worried about the car seats. I am concerned about milk, kool-aid, etc. being splashed all over the seats. This is why I am looking for a seat cover, not a baby seat protector.

I tried looking for something that would protect the seats the same way and yet not visually cover the nice leather. I ended up adapting a clear vinyl protector we use on our dining table. It covers the bottom of the seats, since that's where 99% of the spills happen. You can get it at any Housewares store. |
