I've had my '05 for over a week now and here's a list of noticeable improvements (and drawbacks) as compared to my old '02.

Pros:
* Quieter ride- it's obvious from the instant you get in. While not exactly "vault-like" like some luxury European cars, it's a vast improvement over the old model.
* More power- My '02 was no slouch but this car shows a definite improvement in the acceleration department...and I haven't even gotten on it yet!
* Better sounding stereo- Again, not the best in the industry to begin with (to say the least), but a minor improvement nonetheless.
* Auto headlights- A nice convenience; no more fear of leaving them on by mistake.
* Better headlights- Especially the projector-styled lows. I swapped out the stock low bulbs with foo foo aftermarket bulbs (PIAAs this time) and the difference between the two was not as dramatic as when I did the same on my '02.
* Improved parking brake- Has a better, more solid "feel". Doesn't go all the way to the floor when you press it. Actually works.
* Dead pedal- Who says they haven't been listening to us?
* Back-up camera- A nice feature for NAV owners, especially if you have kids that leave stuff on the driveway behind your car.
* XM Satellite Radio- A cool feature. I haven't listened to the radio since 1985 but this is a whole new ballgame. I haven't played a CD since I bought this car!

Cons:
* Where the heck is my sunglasses holder?!- Bummer....
* No Granite Green- See above.
* XM Satellite Radio- If you don't subscribe (after the three free months) you have a button on your dashboard marked "XM" to remind you that you haven't subscribed.

I was just browsing through the manuals last weekend and saw that the dealer actually checked this item in their checklist! Maybe there is some secret sunglass holder that I'm not aware of. :8:

....giving you 3 months of free XM!! ;) .....You will continue to subscribe to it, for fear of having that useless button stare at you for the rest of your life!! :D

Most of the features you mentioned were on my '03, except the projector headlamps and better sounding stereo.....However you forgot to mention the most significant improvement: THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM!!!!....it's a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE between the old one and new one (as a matter of fact on your '05 it's now the 3rd generation DVD system, while you had the 1st generation on your '02. The '03 and '04 models had the 2nd generartion Nav)

Additionally, I checked out an '05 the other day when I had gone to test drive an RL, and the leather on the seats seemed much more "supple" making the seats more comfortable.

How about the leather? I thought the 04-05 models have better leather seats.

Better leather only makes it harder to cope when the kids mess it up, therefore I haven't bothered to notice a difference!

I didn't have Navi on my '02 so the whole thing seems fantastic.

I forgot to mention the minor aesthetic improvements:
Clear taillights, chrome Acura logo on steering wheel and engine (!), cool blue "ambient" lighting in cabin, better instrument dials on dash, neat "Acura" plate in front door frame floor....oh, and it smells alot nicer!!!

If anything the leather (at least for the drivers seat) on my '04 is thinner than my old '01 :(

I must say the lack of sunglassess holder is a stupid omission. Surely they could have kept it on the car, with the new ceiling mounted sunroof switch. I have always ownwed Hondas and I like the switch on the dash. I always reach for the dash when I want to open the sunroof.
