| Well with the many products suggested to me to use to clean up the choc. milk spill, none of them worked because I couldn't gain access to the spill (between second and third row on floor). So I purchased the bissell turbo steamer/extractor. I had to effectively remove the second row 60 seat completely from the floor. Not too hard with a flashlight and some sockets. It also involved cutting the carpet strategically to remove the mildewed and soaked carpet padding, then thoroughly cleaning between the carpet and floor boards. Also cleaning the carpet with the steamer, which worked flawlessly. A royal pain in the butt, but it had to be done. MORAL OF THE STORY, allow only clear liquids and juice in the X if at all possible, if you have kids! Easier said than done,I know, THE HARD WAY!!! |

I only let my son have water in the MDX. Ant s are SOOOOO bad where I live. When I 1st got the X, I had ants crawling inside the interior. I think they liked the smell or something. :D
I figure if anything containing sugar gets spilled in my X, I would have millions of ants inside of it. Boooooo ants. |

The moral of the story is let the kids wait until they are out of the X before they have food or drinks.:D |

I don't think it's a good idea for anybody to have milk in the car. It's the last thing you want coming back up in case someone doesn't feel good. But when you spill it, it's the absolute worst.
I remember my senior year of high school my buddy that gave us rides to school spilled a half glass of milk in his car and it smelled like wild ass for the rest of the time he had it. I'm pretty sure it would have smelled better had he been cleaning fish in there. |
