| Anyone know of a good source for either of these? Doesn't seem to be anything out there. |

| Thanks for info, are you getting good results? How does the exhaust sound, are you happy with the results? I have the 04 with the dual exhaust and those chrome tips would look real nice. |

The secret to good performance is a non-functioning NOS bottle. An aftermarket dual exhaust is better because you can have larger pipeing and the muffler underneath the car cut out to reduce weight and increase air flow.

The exhaust sounds louder and more aggressive. The CAI makes a nice "sucking" air sound when you get on the accelerator. Everything looks "trick." Performance gains are marginal, but every little upgrade does add up. Good luck.:29: |

Is your Hayame exhaust just the muffler, or is it from the CAT back? How much louder is it than stock?
Manus1980
You need to put that bottle where they can see it, that way when you purge the bottle @ the stoplight, they'll know it's not the heater hose that came loose. LOL
And yes you can waste a lot of that blue bottle just showing off.

I believe he only has the muffler, go to http://www.hayameperformance.com. I don't think there is a manufactor that makes up and down pipes for the MDX, you can bend them yourself though. As for the cat, magnaflow sells universal ones, same with the muffler. I like this one the best http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/...one=main&id=762 |

Acura defines the "muffler" as the piece of equipment directly to the rear of the catalytic converter. The piece of equipment with the exhaust tips that we would think of as a "muffler" is defined as the the "resonator." That being said, my Hayame EXT exhaust replaced the OEM "resonator." It is louder than stock, but not as annoying as some of the "rice" exhausts you hear on the streets.:4: |
