Hi all,
I am new here. Finally just purchased one a couple weeks ago. It comes with all seasons floor mats for the first two rows and cargo tray. If I want to use the third row more often - you know how it's with kids, is there a third row mat(s) that I could get and also a "small" cargo tray (when I use the third row). I've looked around, like on weathertech.com, but could not find it. Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

pdx2504,
Greetings and salutations. I do not believe there is a mat made for the third row. You might try buying a WeatherTech mat for the second row and cutting it down to fit the third row. The cargo tray is invaluable in protecting the cargo area from dirt and spills. If you use the third row seats, some members have reported rolling up the cargo mat so that it still fits. However, this would cause your cargo mat to take on a curled up "memory" when used in its normal configuration. Good luck.:29: |

At this time I'm looking into having some custom made!
Stay tuned ;) |

| I used a clear vinyl carpet runner (the kind with the the little spikes on the back to hold in place) cut to size to fit both the third row seats and the rear cargo area. Works okay but I'm looking forward to buying a better solution from Tim! |

Hardrock - it seems like a good suggestion, I will give it a try.
Tim, please look into it, I am sure there are others like me would appreciate it.
Thanks. |

Thinking about a floor matt back there reminds me I've never had the back seat up before. The headrests are even still in their storage location with the factory plastic on them.
It is good to know that the cargo mat can be rolled up without causing any major problems. I have wondered what I'd do if I unexpectedly needed to carry a couple more people somewhere. |

You'd call them a cab, unless they were very small. You should open up the third row seat, and sit in it for awhile.
I jumped out screaming that I couldn't breathe, and the walls were coming in on me and what if the car caught fire! But then I'm a little claustrophobic.
Seriously, you need a little practice how to hook up the seat belts if you ever need the third row. |

| One thing I wish the MDX has that the Pilot does - adjustable, sliding, second row seats - makes the third row a little more bearable. |

3rd Row Seating
I kept the cargo liner out of my old suburban, and cut it down to use in the floor when the third row is up, and to use in the cargo area when 3rd row is up.
Any other time I have my Acura cargo mat from Tim in use.
We've had the X for almost 2 months, and the only time the 3rd row has been up is when I cut those pieces out for it.

Be sure to click "Change Vehicle" if you're looking for a year other than the one shown. Although I doubt there would be any difference. [/QUOTE
Got mine a few weeks ago but it smelled so bad that I let it stay in the garage to air out. Needed it today since I had to haul a full load of kids to do trail work in the mountains - it fits perfect but it still skinks! |

Hardrock-
You must have got a bad one. You should return it. Mine didn't have an odor that was significant at all. It's been in the X since the day I got it and no one has noticed any odors at all.
