I just installed my HID kit on my 02 X, I get it off of hidynamic...it is more like one of the xtreme hid kits I think...
This isn't the popular xenondepot choice, but I have a question nonetheless...Please dont reply if you are only going to preach about the virtues of x, y, or z kit...Church was yesterday...
My Question:
When I have the car on accessory and turn the headlights on, they work...but then when I proceed to start the car, the drivers side light cuts off...The trouble shooting says that its due to the onboard computer, and the workaround is to hook it to the battery, instead of the existing headlight harness...any thoughts?
BTW - I love it...almost as nice as the HIDs on my A6... |

| So you are not using a wiring harness of any type? What type of ballasts are you using? I would recommend a wiring harness for piece of mind. |

From the diagram on their website, it has two relays so one would think that you need to connect each relay to the factory harness. If you connect it directly to the battery, how would the switch work?
phins2rt: This doesn't appear to be a plug-n-play kit. The instruction shows that you need to tap into the factory connector. I personally wouldn't do it the way they have it on their pictures. |

I agree with vlam. I would not install the kit per their instructions.
I would recommend getting a female 9006 end and put that on the bare wire ends. Get a wire harness from xenon depot and run the power through the battery. Good luck |

| I plugged the light bulbs into the 2 wires on each ballast, then plugged the + and - connectors from the ballast into the wiring harness...any suggestions? |
