To those who have the Weatherflectors...I just bought a set and tried installing it tonight. I got them seated ok in the channel (or so I thought), but the front window constantly gets caught on the one side (the side that is closest to the door handle). I shine a flashlight in there and see that the Weatherflector takes up literally 100% of the channel where the window should go. I tried every which way to get it working by removing and reseating the visor, etc., but no matter what the window will not go up unless I physically push or pull out the visor and create a channel for the window. I don't see how it's possible for the window to fit behind this visor.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, how did you solve it? Do I have defective parts? The visor looks like a perfect fit from the outside, no abnormal gaps or anything else, so it appears I'm installing it correctly. Help!

I put them on my 05 MDX about 4 days ago and no problems with getting them on or having problems with the windows going up or down. It took about 4-5 opening and closing before it set in.

Hope you get it to work.

I hope so too! Let me ask you this, when you installed it, there is a thin rubber seal (no more than 1/4 inch wide) that runs along the top outer edge of the window trim. Did you install the visor on the INSIDE side of this seal, or OUTSIDE this seal? I think it's supposed to go inside, but the directions don't really make it clear.

Inside the same recess of the window glass. The plastic flange of the WTs should always be against the the outside surface of the window glass.

Thanks DaleB, that's how I thought it should go, and that's how I installed it. I just cannot figure out why this thing doesn't fit right. Like I said before, at the upper right corner of the driver window, the visor sticks so far out into the window channel that there is no way the window can pass by. Maybe I have a defective set.

Have you matched the flanges of the different side window pieces against each other?
Maybe one is warped.

Call them up on the phone and tell them of your problem and see what they could come up for a fix.
Sinecure
FWIW, I've had them on my '01 for a few years now. As I recall, it took a few weeks for them to totally seat and not interfere with the window. They're great once they're on and way better than any stick-on crap.
