| What does the moonroof visor do? |
|
|
| HARDROCK |
| Reduces cabin wind noise when the moon-roof is open... |

| A "must have" IMHO. Moonroof is useless without it. Unless you only open it when stopped. |

| It increases wind noise on 2003s. I have it to partially protect the glass from a piece of gravel bouncing around and breaking it. |

| I don't want to open the moon roof when I am driving. It will make the inside of the car dirty. So I only open the frabic flip beneathe the roof glass. |

Imagine the dirt that will get in when it's crushed in a salvage yard someday !
Anyway, I don't have a MV. Looking at pics it seems to block an awful lot of the opening, though people who have installed it say it doesn't and usually swear by them. I don't think the open roof by itself is noisy at all except for the wind deflector that seems to stick up farther than it should.
By the way, what happens if the glass breaks ? Does the entire headliner have to come out ? |

| It allows you to drive in the rain with the moonroof open. Just open the slider a bit and you will be protected. I don't have one yet, but a friend does, and she does this often. |

| Could we install it ourselves? Is it easy to do it? Anybody did this before? Thanks a lot. |
