I need to hook up the wiring harness from Xenon depot to my HID kit...What is the best location to put the ground? If I mount the negative ground on one of the holes near the front edge of the hood, will I shock myself everytime I open it up?
Also, on Steve's harness, does the green wire go with the positive tip , I am used to the Black/Red, not the Black/Green, Black/White deal where the black goes with the negative tip...
Last question - do I have to disconnect my battery to connect this or can I do it without disconnecting the battery and not getting shocked... |

In the first place a 12 volt system is not going to shock you.
Any metal part of the body will provide a ground. Just make sure that you have good clean, bare metal contact. Make sure that your hot lead does not contact ground.
