Can you play MP3 on your stock radio?
Warzau
Nope, anything has to be aftermarket either add-on or external.

Technically, you can play the player with a casette module.

My mini has an adapter that lets you play it through the casette. Don't know anyother way to describe it.

05' doesn't have cassette player.

One factor (not a very heavy one to be sure) for us picking a Navi WITH DVD was the Aux-in that comes with it. For $3 you can get a "Y" RCA input for your iPod and plug the Y connector into the aux in on your DVD MDX. Select Aux from the stereo controls and hit play on your ipod.

None of the 2005 MDX's have cassette player?
I guess I am one of the last to still listen to cassettes as well as CDs and MP3s.

Get with the times, dude! :p lol dont worry...cds and mp3s will still be around for quite some time

Somehow I think CDs will be obsolete in 3 or 4 years. All new cars will probably come with 200GB hard drives standard with built-in WiFi where you can sync with your iTunes or whatever download collection is on your hard drive...:D You would probably also store your DVDs, pictures, videos on the hard drive and play it (wait, that sounds like Microsoft Media Center in a car...) I should have a talk with Bill Gates :D

They actually listed MP3 and harddrive for the upcoming Acura RDX. Not sure if it's the demo car thing or that's actually how they're going to make/ship it. (?!)
