I was reading some threads on brakes and replacements of them. I was wondering what are the opinions on cross drilled rotor vs slotted rotors? Pros and cons on both would be appreciated. Also, any comments on Brembo Rotors?

The most important factors are the material quality, workmanship, and design.
A cheap drilled rotor will crack or warp easily.
Slotted rotors eat brake pad faster, but then I am sure the users don't mind.
Brembo rotors are nice, but they don't make drilled or slotted for MDX/Pilot.
If you have came acorss any on eBay they are not real.
They are either "Brembo style" or just the blank is made by Brembo
but the machining was done by 3rd party. |

...to my way of thinking, if the rotors are curretnly capable of locking up the wheel then more money is wasted.
All the pros say TIRES are the numbber one factor in effecting stopping distance.
The number one factor in "fade resistence" is pads.

If you are doing for looks, then that's just personal taste and some folks like champagne while others like malt liquor... |
