| Cabo San Lucas

| I'm in the early stages of planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas in May. I'm looking forward to a nice, inexpensive vacation of lounging at the beach and/or pool during the day and hitting some bars in the evening. Anybody have any recommendations on where to stay or what to check out? Thanks. |

My daughter went there on their honeymoon. I do not think that "inexpensive" is the operative word for that location.

| Thanks for the tips. I'm finding that this vacation is not going to be too inexpensive at all. But, it still looks like it'll be a lot cheaper than any of other Mexican vacation spots. |

| We are going to Cabo San Lucas the first week of October, And staying at the Hacienda beach hotel. Anyone heard any reports about it? |

From My post just above yours cycler15. we did not go to the hacienda like it says but ended up going to MARBELLA SUITES LaPlaya (on the beach) This place is fantastic. It's older but VERY CLEAN and quiet. We went Last October And will be going again this October 7-14, 2006. It's about 17 km's North of cabo on the sea of Cortez side.
Check their web site www.marbellasuites.com If you choose them get a room down by the pool and bar area. Prices are really great compared to the bigger hotels.

How was the weather last October? Did it rain? I know that September is the rainy month but that it usually clears up by early/mid october.
What did you think of Cabo in general? |
