Here's the amp kit I'm looking at:
http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=powkit2g
My plan is to install the JL Audio 300/4 at the headrest area and let it drive the two front Boston Acoustics components and bridge remaining 2 channels to the sub for now. Later, I'll more than likely add 250/1 JL Audio amp.
I only want to wire the amp kit once, hence leaning towards to 2 gauage or 1/0 gauge power wire rather than 4ga.
1/0 power wire kits are $70+ while this 2 gauge can be had for $25.
I don't want to skimp on wires but hate to spend another $50 more for no significant difference.
I've searched about the Power Acoustik Kits but could not find any review.
Thanks for your help. |

| I use a farenheit AMP. That is Power Acoustic's Cadillac line. It is excellent. I think my FM modulator is made by Power Acoustics. Very happy with both products. |

| 4ga is good for over 1000 watts, and much easier to run through the vehicle. I have run 2 JL 500/1 and 1 JL 300/2 on a single run of 4ga with no problems. There is no harm in running 2ga, just more of a PITA. |
