| Let the madness begin!!! To the surprise of myself and a lot people up here in the Northwest, the Washington Huskies are a No. 1 seed in the tough Albuquerque bracket. Let's just hope they can back it up with no true big man. I can't wait to see Nate "the great" Robinson flying around the court. It's gonna be a great tourney. |

This is my favorite time of year. There are a lot of good teams out there. Seems to me that the occurance of upsets in the first couple rounds has increased as the mid-majors have improved and for one game they can elevate their game.
Ironic that the state of IN was left out this year, not even Valpo or Butler to represent the Hoosier state. |

Be careful what you wish for - the #1 seed always has a big target on their arse, very seldom does all 4 #1 seeds end up in the final four - there is almost always a dark horse in the mix. That said, I wonder if Romar would rather slip under the radar as a 2 or 3 seed, expectations are much lower and an elite 8 appearance will cement his 'god' status on campus . . . |

| It's been a great tourney so far. My Dawgs are still in it. This next game against Louisville is going to be a tough one though. Both play the same type of game and both are playing with a chip on their shoulder. |

I agree, it's been a great tournament. By brakets for the office pool went in the dirt in the second round though:mad:
But if your an ACC fan :) , having three teams in the sweet 16 is pretty darn good. My emotion has me pulling for Carolina (BSBA '89), but my better judgment tells me that Illinois has a better shot.
If the next round goes well for the ACC, then well have Carolina vs NC State, and then the winner versus Duke (if Duke makes it to the final 4). Kind of like the ACC torounament all over again. |

| Because Sparty Time capped the most amazing weekend of March Madness ever. The couches, love seats and anything else they can get their hands on will be burning in East Lansing. |
