Straight to the pt- for the Line Output Converter, i'm tapping into the bose cd player's wires in passenger side center console and I know I use:
1. Yellow for rt. positive
2. Brown for rt. negative.
3. White for left positive
4. Orange for left negative.

My question is which brown and white wires do I use because there is 3 of each? Thanks.

Installed the loc and tapped into the bose amplifier and grounded the loc and turned on the car and system didn't work, so I took out the two RCA cables and the subs actually hit when I remove the rca's and put them in the loc. Does anyone know what's wrong here?

pacho,
Do you have any pics or a diagram? Are you tapping before or after the amp? If before, the signal loss will be quite substantial.
pacho
phins, i don't have a camera to take pictures with but I can describe to you what happened.
-I'm basically hooking up the LOC like you first did in your thread. My rca's from the amp (connected to the backseat) are plugged in the rca spots in the LOC.
-The other side of the LOC has a spot for right pos, right neg, ground, left pos, and left neg. I tapped into the bose amplifier for right + & - and left + & -, I also grounded the LOC to the bolt in the floor next to the bose amplifier wires.
-When I turn on the car the subs do not play but when I remove the rca's from the LOC, the subs actually make a bumping noise but only when I remove and plug in the rca's to LOC. I was thinking maybe I tapped into the wrong right + or - or left + or - wires b/c there are a few different brown and white wires, but wouldn't the subs not make a noise if these wires were wired incorrectly?

Edit-I will try to take pictures with my camera within the next 2 hours.

Those input wires to the LOC look huge (like 16 gauge). I think mine from the Head unit were like 20 or 22 gauge. What year is your MDX?

Are you tapping into the wires going into or coming out of the Bose amp?

They are left over 12 gauge that I ran from the LOC to the bose amp wires. The bose amp wires are 22 gauge but since I had extra 12 gauge left over, I decided to use that so I wouldn't have to buy 22 gauge.
-In the picture #1 that says vose ( meant to say bose), those are the wires that I tapped into (bose amplifier).

**not sure what you mean by: wires coming in or out of bose amp?

pacho,
On my 03 there is a loom that comes from the head unit to the amp. There is alaso a loom that goes from the amp to the speakers. Are you tapping the wires going into the amp or the wires coming from the amp to the speakers?
pacho
on pictue #3 that says grd pt., i labeled the loom that I used

I don't see any labels in that pic... Oh well, good luck.
pacho
sorry about that, guess it didn't download
-i did not use the loom that is to the right side of the grounding point

-the loom i did use you cannot see but the 12 gauge wire located at the top left side of the screen is the loom I tapped into and it says on the side of the box there in center console: bose amplifier

I USED:
right positive: yellow
right negative: brown
left positive: white
left negative: orange

went up to tweeters audio and asked them and they said I had the wrong wires, correct wires are red & yellow (one wire) and brown and white (one wire), after i made these changes the system finally worked, thanks for the help though.
